“Participating in the Grand Challenge Scholars Program has definitely been a worthwhile journey. It has given me so many opportunities that I would have otherwise not known where to find, and I definitely would not have been able to maximize my undergraduate experience without it. Currently, I am working at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Chicago. I work in Health Industries Advisory, which means I serve as a consultant for pharmaceutical & life science companies. At Arizona State University, I worked to solve the grand challenge of engineering better medicines, and also gained some background on advancing healthcare informatics. Now, I work with large-scale corporations that aim to solve these same grand challenges, and use my skills as a problem solver to work as a consultant and achieve the best possible outcome for both the company and the rest of the world. Graduation for a Grand Challenge Scholar does not just result in a diploma. It results in a promise and a hope to always work with others to make this world safer, stronger, and sounder.”
