“My experience installing a water filter with an interdisciplinary team in Jacmel, Haiti, introduced me to the field of public health and taught me the importance of culturally appropriate and community-driven interventions. In addition, I learned the value of collaborating on a diverse team representing an array of expertise and skills. My work as a GCSP fellow served as a foundation for my career in healthcare policy by building necessary professional skills and providing me with invaluable problem solving and leadership experience.”
