Biography

“The GCSP was my first intensive research experience studying neural engineering. My project focused on characterizing the response of neurons to clinical brain stimulation, for eventual applications to targeted stimulation therapies. Through GCSP, I became a part of the diverse network of scientists that study stimulation-based interventions in neural systems. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania in the lab of Dr. Danielle Bassett, with a research focus on applying engineering principles such as control and information theory to neural systems.”
