“GCSP helped me prepare for the work environment by introducing me to the impact engineering has on other fields of study. I was exposed to a diverse education where I experienced topics like ethics, entrepreneurship, environmental issues, and service learning. I learned about the importance of how I conduct myself in my job, and how important it is to put my best work forward for the safety of consumers of products impacted by my work. I learned how to run a business which showed me how to limit costs in design and manufacturing of a product. I saw how engineering can have impacts on the environment and should be accounted for in the design process. Service learning showed me how engineering can benefit the community through my service. Overall, my experience in GCSP was a fun and enriching education that I highly recommend to anyone considering the program.”
