“As a multi-passionate learner, GCSP enabled me to invest in what truly matters. I developed a deep passion for finding solutions to the challenge of making sustainable energy economical.  Over the past 20 years, the technology of renewable energy has achieved great development but it is still impeded by energy storage. That’s why I decided from day one at KAUST to find innovative ideas in making better energy storage devices. I officially joined the research group of Professor Husam Alshareef on August of 2018. Since then, I have been working on optimizing lithium sulfur batteries by developing a novel structural material. GCSP led me to have a sense of responsibility toward impactful research. The career I pursue is the one that transforms great discoveries into impactful products, helping humanity raise higher.”
