University of Southern California, 2018, B.S. Electrical Engineering w/Minor in Chemistry

“Engineering has always held a significant role in my life. From my first engineering project proposal to the Beijing government of setting up bus lanes to improve traffic when I was in middle school, to my undergraduate research experience on tackling with one of the Grand Challenges, making solar energy economical, by designing a material for the solar panels that can passively regulate its temperature. It is GCSP that made me aware of the unparalleled possibilities of solving practical, real-world problems with innovative engineering ideas. Now, to make more contributions to solving those Grand Challenges, I am studying the interaction between light and matters at the nano- and quantum scale as a PhD candidate at Stanford University.”
