Duke University, 2011, B.S.E. Biomedical Engineering

“My time at Duke was formative in many ways to lead me to where I am now. My GCSP challenge was Engineering Better Medicines and the experience gave me the opportunity to perform research in a radiation biology laboratory. I gained insight into the nuances and iterative processes that characterize medical innovations. It was also valuable to learn different communication styles and preferences between the engineering and medical fields. The GCSP experience cultivated a passion for technical research and exploration that has fueled my career choice and path to the technical medical field of radiation oncology.”
