Biography

“My Grand Challenge Scholars Program involvement was primarily engineering the tools of scientific discovery, namely to enable space exploration. This was through working at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory on Mars 2020 rover and at Blue Origin on the orbital rocket New Glenn. I tried to bring this and advancing methods of personal learning to kids at the California Science Center, where I did science and engineering interactive activities, particularly about the Space Shuttle Endeavor. I also participated in a 2-week program at Bauman State Technical University in Moscow to facilitate international collaboration in aerospace. I truly believe that completing this grand challenge to explore the universe will help humans on Earth and beyond.”
